FTE: 0.6 Shift: Days, Schedule: 3 8-hour shifts, Monday, Thursday, and Friday

Position Summary

The Ophthalmic Photographer/Technician is responsible and accountable for providing diagnostic testing and procedures, physician assistance, patient education and appointment scheduling for Ophthalmology and dermatology outpatient procedures.

Requirements

  • Completion of Ophthalmic Technician or Ophthalmic Assistant training and certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Certification must be maintained through continuing education
  • Must obtain MA-R within 60 days of hire
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
  • Pediatric experience
