Job Title: Information Specialist

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team. This role requires accurate and timely registration of adverse events and product quality reports from initial receipt to data entry within required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality review of external provider's reconciliation tasks for clinical and post-marketing cases (including medical information, product complaints, and third-party vendor cases).
  • Communicate clearly and succinctly with customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize judgment skills to identify workflow-impacting issues.
  • Use rigorous logic and methods to solve complex problems effectively.
  • Identify gaps and areas for improvement, implementing recommendations as needed.
  • Perform tasks outside one's primary area of responsibility to support departmental needs.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage time to complete assigned tasks efficiently.


Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant application/environment-specific knowledge.
  • Experience handling large quantities of information, data, or documents within a structured database, filing system, or reporting format.
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Prior experience in a regulatory or medical setting (preferred).
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Superior attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and timelines.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent computer and keyboarding skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook (or equivalent email systems).
  • Prior experience and familiarity with computer databases.
  • Strong adaptability to shifting tasks based on business needs.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly grasp technical and process knowledge.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a regulatory or medical setting (preferred).
