The Product Manager - Managed Cloud & Infrastructure Services is responsible for supporting the development, pricing, and operational strategy of DataBank's Managed Cloud, Bare Metal, and Infrastructure Services. This role collaborates with engineering, sales, and finance teams to shape the product roadmap, drive competitive pricing, and support the Deal Desk function to optimize sales execution.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for Managed Cloud & Infrastructure Services, aligning with market needs and technical capabilities.
  • Work with engineering and DevOps teams to prioritize automation, infrastructure enhancements, and customer self-service capabilities.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, sales insights, and industry trends to drive continuous product improvement.

Deal Desk & Pricing Support

  • Assist in structuring, reviewing, and approving deals for Managed Cloud & Infrastructure Services.
  • Ensure deals align with profitability, pricing models, and contract structures while remaining competitive.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and legal teams to refine quoting, discounting, and contract processes.
  • Develop tools and documentation to streamline deal approvals and improve sales efficiency.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to ensure DataBank's services remain competitive.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to craft effective messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials.

Operational & Sales Collaboration

  • Partner with sales teams to develop pricing strategies, promotions, and packaging for managed services.
  • Work with engineering and DevOps to align technical capabilities with customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with customer success and operations to enhance service onboarding, SLAs, and post-sales support.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management, sales operations, or deal desk experience, preferably in cloud infrastructure, managed services, or SaaS.
  • Familiarity with bare metal, cloud platforms, networking, and automation technologies.
  • Experience with pricing strategy, deal structuring, and contract approvals in a B2B setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and financial objectives.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and finance teams.
  • Ability to develop and optimize sales processes, pricing models, and quoting strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
