What you'll do

Join a fun and global Communications team where you'll get to work across departments honing your communications skills and contributing to company culture.
The Comms team creates content that informs, educates and inspires our 2300+ employees globally. In this internship, you'll produce engaging written and video content that helps our teams understand our strategy and feel connected to our purpose. In this role, you'll also partner with other departments across the organization to help them produce content to achieve their goals with clients, partners and prospective employees, strengthening the Meltwater brand overall. This role is about thinking creatively, being proactive and diligently managing projects and priorities.

  • Write posts for internal blog and coordinate with global teams to publish their posts

  • Contribute to content calendar and brainstorm ideas for content

  • Help produce videos for internal and external audiences

  • Project manage the team's content pipeline

  • Collaborate on PR deliverables & social posts

  • Other support tasks as needed

What you'll bring

  • Experience or interest in journalism, communications, marketing, or media

  • You love to write! Strong writing and editing skills are an absolute must. You spot grammar and punctuation mistakes before anyone else does.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and desire to build rapport with multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Basic video editing skills preferred, or a desire to further these skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn

  • Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to balance a variety of detailed tasks and work efficiently under deadlines

  • Self-starter who is independent and able to help lead small projects

  • Positive attitude and desire to work collaboratively with a team

  • Friendly and outgoing personality, with a high degree of emotional intelligence

  • Interviewing in the next 6 weeks

  • 3 month internship

  • 20 hours a week, hybrid schedule to be determined. Targeting one day in person in San Francisco a week

Where You'll Work: This is a hybrid role, requiring in-person work one day per week in downtown San Francisco.
Compensation: $25/hr USD
