Description
Job Purpose & Summary: The P2 SHRED Business Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations, finances, and strategic planning of this line of business in classified IT destruction. This position will ensure smooth business functions, improve productivity, and drive financial growth. This role requires leadership, problem-solving skills, and strong business acumen. This position reports to the Executive Vice President, Operations and Growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and manage teams, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
- Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Analyze market trends and competition to drive business growth.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior management or stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Proficiency in business management software and tools.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Typically works in an office setting with a standard full-time schedule.
- May require travel for meetings, conferences, or site visits, depending on the industry.
Clearance
- TS//SAP/SCI is required.
- CI Polygraph is not required - USG may request at any time.
Years of Experience/Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in program or project management.
Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired but not required.
