Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, occasional weekend work may be required, but can be discussed with supervisor beforehand.

This is a professional and research position involving both lab management and independent research focusing on the functional genetic and evolutionary genomic basis of adaptation in herbivorous insects. Independent research activities include the generation, documentation, analysis, and presentation of experiments and results, including involvement in the preparation of scientific publications. Lab management activities include independent planning, organizing, and directing day-today management of an academic research laboratory.
