Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Receiving Coordinator leads the daily operations of the receipt and delivery of inbound supplies and parcels. The Supply Chain Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the receiving team's daily functions which include receiving, staging, and goods delivery within the Hospital and across affiliated sites. The Receiving Coordinator must work collaboratively with stakeholders from clinical operations, supply chain procurement, and finance to execute the supply chain strategy and fulfill the needs of their customers. The Supply Chain Receiving Coordinator is a crucial member of the supply chain operations team at Endeavor Health.

What you will do:

  • Receiving & Delivery: Subject Matter Expert and resource to all aspects of the receiving and goods delivery processes. Including but not limited to dock logging, receiving, staging, & goods delivery, including all required documentation of the chain of custody.
  • Receiving Control: Influence others to follow established receiving policies, procedures, and best practices to prevent mis deliveries, damaged products, and receipt discrepancies. Implement measures to improve receiving accuracy, such as standardizing receiving, staging, and delivery processes, and implementing quality assurance protocols.
  • Daily Team Assignments: Coordinate the daily team assignments related to dock logging, receiving, staging, and ultimately goods delivery.
  • Onboarding & Training: Assist with the onboarding and training process of new receiving specialist team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, clinical end users, logistics, and operations, to respond to and resolve customer inquiries about deliveries and address any receipt line exceptions.
  • Performance Quality Monitoring: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the receiving team's compliance via audits and observation, of all Supply Chain Operations policies and procedures related to dock logging, receiving, staging, and goods delivery. Assuring that the receiving team has adequate resources to meet customer needs.
  • Reporting: Utilize INR, Dock Logging Manifests, and Good Delivery reports to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to management to support decision-making.
  • Technology Integration: Adopt, leverage, and utilize the receipt management systems and tools including Workday and NiceLabel.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adherence with safe handling guidelines of parcels based on regulations from OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience: 1+ years of shipping and receiving or healthcare supply chain experience.

    • Understand supply chain processes specific to healthcare settings.

    • Ability to maintain organized records and shipment lists.
    • Data Entry and Reporting
    • Proficient in data entry and generating receiving reports.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions: Walking, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, and lifting required up to 50 lbs. Must possess ability to complete functions necessary to role and to present a neat and professional appearance; mental and emotional stability are necessary and must be aware of all times of hospital safety codes.

Equipment Utilized within the Scope of the Position: Working knowledge of personal computers, landline and mobile phones, handheld scanning devices, hip printers, forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and pack mule tuggers.
