SUMMARY Provide leadership and management oversight of all accounting functions for the Performance & Essential Materials (PEM) segment reporting to the Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer. Establish and maintain all performance and essential materials general accounting functions effectively, including all transactions related to sales revenues, costs, cash, fixed assets, trade payables and inventory management. Ensure adequate PEM Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, internal controls, financial reporting, and accounting systems. Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-quality PEM accounting team. Support PEM businesses and operations heads in understanding/analyzing financial results, supporting strategic analysis and business decisions, and preparing accurate budgets and forecasts. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators.
