Develops and implements educational and training programs for the Academic Division Departments of Pharmacy, including pharmacy technicians, students, residents, and pharmacists. Oversees new employee orientation, staff development, and pharmacy residency training. Manages experiential education for pharmacy students and serves as the Administrator for the ACPE-accredited continuing education program.

Develops and implements educational and training programs for the Johns Hopkins Health System, including pharmacy technicians, students, residents, and pharmacists. Oversees new employee orientation, staff development, and pharmacy residency training. Manages experiential education for pharmacy students and serves as the Administrator for the ACPE-accredited continuing education program.

Assists in budget preparation for pharmacy education and training needs, overseeing fiscal responsibilities for ASHP residency accreditation and ACPE provider status. Recommends and leads staff development and patient education programs, establishing structured training methods. Serves as Chair of the Education Council for the Department of Pharmacy.

Provides direct supervision to Pharmacy Educators and oversight for Pharmacy Residents, ensuring competency completion per ASHP standards.

Minimum Qualifications:




  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm. D. degree, or B.S. degree with a minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience required.
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is required.
  • Knowledge of training concepts, methods, and techniques acquired through a minimum of 2 years of experience, training and educational activities as a pharmacist.
  • Salary Range: Minimum $58.47/hour- maximum $102.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
  • Knowledge of the training standards and requirements for ASHP and ACPE.
  • Requires current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
