As a Commercial Training Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive onboarding and enablement programs for our sales team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Leadership, Marketing, Products & Solutions, and Human Resources, to ensure the sales team is equipped with the tools, training, and resources needed to excel. This role is remote and reports to the Sales Operations Leader.

You will make a difference in the following ways:

Commercial Training Strategy & Program Development:



  • Develop and implement commercial training strategies and programs that align with the company's goals.
  • Identify commercial training needs and create relevant content, tools, and training programs to enhance Belden's Solution Selling capability.



Sales Training:



  • Design and deliver structured onboarding programs incorporating best practices, industry trends, and sales methodologies.
  • Develop training initiatives addressing skill gaps, including Strategic Selling framework, MEDDICC, Value Selling, Senior Stakeholder motivation, Solution Design, and CRM usage.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods such as e-learning, classroom training, role-plays, and simulations.



Content & Technology Management:



  • Create and maintain a library of commercial training content, including presentations, case studies, battle cards, and other sales collateral.
  • Develop and implement commercial training technology solutions, such as commercial training platforms, to improve sales team productivity and effectiveness.



On-the-Job Support & Performance Tracking:



  • Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing support to new and existing sales hires.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to monitor progress, address challenges, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the onboarding and enablement programs.
  • Analyze program effectiveness, gather feedback, and refine strategies accordingly.


What you bring:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field

* 5+ years of experience in commercial training, sales training, or a related field.

* Proven track record in designing and implementing successful sales training programs.

* Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, sales processes, and CRM systems.

* Experience with a Commercial Training Platform is a plus.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate sales professionals.

* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Analytical skills to track program effectiveness and drive data-informed improvements.

* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
