Verizon is seeking a cybersecurity engineer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic organization where skills can be utilized to drive growth and innovation. The cybersecurity engineer works to proactively engineer security controls to mitigate risk early in the development lifecycle. Gathers requirements, designs, codes, tests, implements and supports secure applications and solutions while maintaining knowledge of various programming languages, data analytics and automation tools. Provides client support, consultation and information security subject matter expertise for application / systems development, maintenance and support. Ensures scalability of emerging security technologies and solutions. Provides deep knowledge and understanding of network, systems, software, security and is able to articulate it in both business and technical forums. Responsibilities
