Certified Soldering Technician | Join a Leading EMS Provider

Staffmark is hiring a Certified Soldering Technician for an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider in Plano, TX. This position requires 2-3 years of soldering experience and IPC-610/J-STD certifications. The ideal candidate will work with electronic components and PCB soldering equipment in a fast-paced environment. Apply today and bring your expertise to a dynamic team!

Pay: $19 - $23 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:



  • Operate soldering equipment and other tools to solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Perform thorough checks to ensure thru-hole components are properly seated on the PCB.
  • Work with solder, components, winding coils, cable wire, chassis, and mechanical assembly.
  • Maintain documentation as required and notify the lead of any malfunctioning equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and follow the Good Documentation Practices Procedure.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
  • Meet the quality standards as set by the company's mission.
  • Take all required training classes and cross-train into other departments as needed.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2-3 years of soldering experience in an EMS environment.
  • Active IPC-610 or J-STD certifications.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Class II or Class III Solder Certification.
  • Detail-oriented with good attendance and punctuality.
