Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Manager - Cloud, AI, Databricks.
In this role, the successful Program Manager is responsible for the oversight, management, and delivery of multiple large and complex IT projects and programs throughout the entire lifecycle, with a specialized focus on Cloud, AI, and Databricks projects. This role involves coordinating the efforts of vendors, internal teams, and other business units to ensure successful project outcomes. The successful candidate will lead the PM Center of Excellence, fostering best practices and innovation in project management. Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and lead Cloud, AI, and Databricks projects and programs across multiple experiences.
- Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts within a program.
- Assemble project plans, assign teamwork, direct and monitor work efforts.
- Identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, manage risks, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately across programs and experiences.
- Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet project needs.
- Maintain program budget, manage vendors, and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate communications with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed to establish one main point of communication.
- Identify, resolve, and/or escalate roadblocks, issues, and conflicts.
- Guide and direct team members.
- Manage projects according to program objectives and key performance indicators.
- Perform impact analysis on project change requests and make recommendations for optimal outcomes.
- Drive and evaluate estimates by deliverable and work with project teams to optimize program-related deliverables.
- Manage program critical path, related inter-project dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Work with business stakeholders to define overall program goals and scope.
- Maintain documentation of the Experience Journey, ensuring accuracy as products evolve and timing or priority decisions are made.
- Lead discussions of analytics to measure Experience Success Metrics with guidance from Experience Leads, Operational/Business Leads, Product Managers, and MCIT teams.
- Engaging with business partners and stakeholders, and preparation of executive-level communications and updates.
- Monitor the planning and execution of product delivery, particularly at the intersection with operational training, readiness, adoption, and support groups.
- Maintain and foster an open dialogue with the Delivery Lead on product delivery timelines and risks, supporting the escalation and mitigation process.
- Lead the end-to-end program solution delivery, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality project deliverables through effective team communication with a focus on quality.
- Create and present program status presentations to various steering committees.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Must possess advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of project management methodologies and tools, project/program financial management, and resource management practices. Demonstrated success managing large complex IT projects within formal processes and methodologies such as PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge. Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Experience leading Cloud, AI, and Databricks projects and programs with compressed timelines and high visibility. Proven ability to effectively present to executives. Must be analytical, process-oriented, and able to apply structure to complex problems. Strong leadership, team-building, vendor, and customer relations skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, or related). 7+ years of direct project management experience. Proven track record of leading successful projects in AI, Cloud implementation or migration. Experience with Databricks or similar applications is highly desired. Healthcare industry experience is highly desired. PMP Certification, preferred Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
