THE JOB: The main responsibility of the Mutuel Clerk is to support guests in placing bets on horse races and sporting events from around the world. All tasks must be carried out in compliance with the property's departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines. THE STARTING RATE: $17.50 + direct tips THE DAY-TO-DAY: Write and cash tickets with accuracy while following departmental policies and ensuring compliance with Title 31-attention to detail makes all the difference! Keep your cash drawer balanced and secure like a pro-because precision counts. Be a wagering wizard! Educate and guide guests on how to bet on all the thrilling racing and sporting events. Stay alert and report any suspicious activity to your supervisor-your sharp eye keeps the game fair. Bring the energy! Create a fun and welcoming atmosphere that enhances every guest's experience. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Has previous experience working in a customer service environment Is flexible to work evenings and weekends and/or holidays Is at least 21 years old Must be able to stand for the duration of the scheduled shift.
