Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic individual with an intimate knowledge of the dairy industry to fulfill our Global Group Application Manager - Dairy Enzymes position. Your main focus will be to: Manage and guide a highly skilled technical application team to provide optimal technical support of enzymes used in the dairy industry in close collaboration with sales and product management Develop the enzyme portfolio for dairy applications in close collaboration with the global and regional product managers Be a main technical contact for our key accounts in dairy Develop the customer intimacy and global and regional customer support Manage and develop the laboratory facilities and capabilities for dairy enzymes We are looking for a customer-focused and self-motivated technical leader with a strong network and good knowledge of the industry. Key responsibilities:* * Leading a highly skilled technical team, provide technical customer support of enzymes for the dairy industry * In close collaboration with the IFF sales team and product managers, ensure a high level of involvement in technical customer activities both individually and support your team consisting of Application Scientists & Specialists * Drive application trials at both customer facilities and IFF pilot facilities to optimize, validate and document the functionality of enzyme solutions * Lead and support new product development activities and R&D projects * Plan and execute technical sales activities, such as product and technology training sessions and innovation workshops * Analyze interactions of enzymes and their combined effectiveness with starter cultures and probiotics for comprehensive evaluations of biotechnology solutions in dairy applications * Ensure optimal interaction of your team within the global application set-up, and support customers with the full IFF portfolio Job requirements: * Degree in Biotechnology, Food Science, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or a related field * Minimum 5 years of experience within the dairy industry * Customer-focused leader with the skills to interact with multiple levels within the customer organization, including the key decision makers * Previous managerial experience preferred, with the ability to motivate and lead others to deliver their best in a respectful way * Desire to work in a multidisciplinary team and the ability to network across organizational and geographical borders * Willingness to travel up to 35%, including to customer commercial production sites We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
