Genesis10 is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for designing and deploying tools and services within a technical domain, ensuring alignment with architectural governance, standards, and policies
  • Create infrastructure tools and integrate them as part of an infrastructure service to support business strategies
  • Focus on enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of infrastructure solutions through automation, templates, and playbooks
  • Embrace a culture of innovation and drive improvements in service and tool performance
  • Assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for potential firm adoption
  • Assist in evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes
  • Assist Technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers by ensuring that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
  • Contribute to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains
  • Act as a consultant on a range of technologies where he or she is a subject matter expert
  • Promote an inclusive, healthy working environment and resolve organizational impediments or blockers
  • Create and manage governance-related artifacts and stakeholder engagement processes



Requirements:

  • Expertise in managing production environments, problem management, and change control
  • Proven ability to design and develop significant system components, conducting effective design reviews
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD best practices, DevOps tools, and automation frameworks
  • Strong skills in driving optimal design solutions while ensuring compliance with organizational standards
  • Knowledge of business flows, services, and financial implications of technology decisions
  • Understanding and mitigating risks associated with infrastructure solutions
  • Exposure to lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and project fundamentals
  • Knowledge of cross-team collaboration and infrastructure delivery best practices
  • Understanding financial data relevant to project roles
  • Basic knowledge of accessibility guidelines and design principles
  • Ability to solve complex problems across various technical domains
  • Shares ideas, challenges the status quo, and creates innovative solutions
  • Builds partnerships across teams and fosters collective problem-solving
  • Employs data to identify root causes and deliver reliable solutions
  • Uses emotional intelligence and collaborative strategies to influence stakeholders
  • Sets measurable KPIs and drives results that align with business value
