Intern - Engineering

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with daily activities involving functional testing of new or modified components and materials used in drug/device Combination Products.
• Tasks include data collection and analysis; test protocol and report writing; test schedule planning and management; creating and organizing engineering specifications, drawings, and supporting engineering documentation.
• Running initial equipment trials and developing relevant work instructions for the equipment usage
• Supporting qualification activities for new laboratory equipment

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program; pursuing a related degree in Engineering. Preferred majors; biomedical or mechanical engineering
• Be classified as a minimum of a sophomore with minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be planning to return to school at the end of summer
• Must commit to 8-10 weeks full time internship
• Demonstrated design project experience.
• Detail-oriented with superior organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement.
• Excellent documentation skills and laboratory practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
