Our Financial Management & Business Analysis Portfolio supports the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC); the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C); the U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM); the Defense Health Agency (DHA); and many other DoD customers. We ensure the Army FM systems and processes are modernized and integrated to provide a complete range of financial and cost information needed for the Army to conduct business transactions, provide accountability to the public, and to support performance reporting and decision making. We provide effective functional systems support, user technical support, training support, and governance support of the Army's modernized and deployed FM domain ERP systems (GFEBS / GFEBS-SA / GCSS-A (Finance)), ensuring technological capabilities maturation and evolution aligns with Army and FM domain goals and objectives. And we are responsible for the implementation and sustainment of the Army's General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) within DHA's Military Health System (MHS).#MC

We are looking for a Microsoft Security Engineer (Power Platform DOD) to join our team in supporting the Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) Special Support Operations (SSO) DAR team (Data Analytics and Reporting).

The successful candidate will implement and maintain data security within Power BI, ensuring, ensuring that sensitive government and client data protection and collaboration. The Microsoft Security Engineer will work closely with government and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, define scope, and provide expertise on best practices of data security.

Your day-to-day work will include:

Developing a security architecture and enforce controls for Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages within a DOD enterprise environment.
• Implementing Security controls for Power Platform tools within DOD security guidelines
• Identifying & Accessing Management - Managing user permissions, authentication policies, and data access controls
• Governance, Regulations & Compliance - Ensuring security measures meet DOD/Army cybersecurity regulations and risk management requirements.
• Data Security - Workspace Roles, Row Level Security, Object Level Security, Best Practices, Permissions, Authorizations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (scientific/engineering / IT fields)
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders (interactions with senior stakeholders)
• Experience with securing Power Platform tools in a DOD environment
• Experience in Microsoft security tools, cloud security, and enterprise compliance frameworks
• Experience securing sensitive government data and managing security operations
• 10 to 15 years relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player
• The ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders across business and systems groups during the execution of a complex data & analytics solution development effort
• Familiarity with the Power Platform environment and data policies
• Experience in managing users and permissions
• Knowledge of Power BI security and data governance best practices
• An active SECRET Level Security Clearance with the ability to maintain and receive TOP SECRET Clearance (required US Citizenship)
