Our Resource Teachers are sometimes called 'floaters' because that's what they do - they regularly 'float' between classrooms. Spend the morning caring for infants, lunchtime with the toddlers, and the afternoon with a group of preschool artists completing their masterpieces. No two days are the same!

  • Wage range: $20.25 - $24.75 / hr

As a Resource Teacher, you will:

  • Lead hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.

  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.

  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required

  • 12 ECE units completed required: Child Development, Child Family Community and 2 curriculum courses. If applying for an Infant or Toddler position the Infant/Toddler class is required as one of the curriculum courses. *Transcripts will be required at time of hire.*

  • Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred

  • At least 12 months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred

  • Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to ensure compliance with enhanced health and safety protocols and to keep yourself and others safe and free from illness.
