Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for directing one or more complex projects through implementation in order to
meet the business requirements, customer needs and defined drivers. The Operations Manager will ensure successful launch/deployment
of various products. This position is the focus to which all processes, communication, accountabilities and procedures are filtered through to
ensure an aligned team effort. The key focus of this position is overall management of projects across multiple business groups and
ensuring delivery of specific business/customer functionality that is on time.

Responsibilities
  • Managerial:
    *Develop and implement operational strategies and goals aligned with company objectives
    *Monitor and analyze operational performance to identify areas for improvement
    *Partners to develop/deliver communications regarding the progress, accountabilities and gaps in the progress of assigned projects
    *Prepares requests for proposals and conducts all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services/products.
    *Communicate with Business Leaders, written and verbal

    Project Management:
    *Directly responsible for managing and overseeing projects: scope, schedule, risk, human resources, communications, procurement,
    change and methods for measuring results.
    *Coordinates resources to consistently deliver high quality products and services on time.
    *Develops timetables for implementation, monitors and performs strategic analysis for the projects and team results
    *Researches and makes recommendations on procedures to enhance operational efficiencies.
    *Assembles and coordinates project team members; assigns individual responsibilities.
    *Knowledge of the techniques for managing cross-functional teams.
    *Skilled in planning and preparing effective written communications, ideas and concepts
    *Ability to synthesize project information and establish the appropriate scope of a project.
    *Ability to apply strong project management skills and methodologies.

Qualifications
  • *A Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management) or Work Experience - Minimum 7+ years of OPS Management/ Project Management
    *Telecommunications Industry Experience
    *Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project
    *Experience with Executive presentation skills to draft professional, formal briefing material.
    *Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communications
    *Collaborates with key stakeholders outside own area of expertise
    *Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
    *Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
    *Ability to interpret data analyses for operational insights. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria
    for obtaining results.
    *Ability to work independently and with others at all levels within the organization
    *Demonstrated facilitation skills and ability to manage meetings with project team members
    *Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel
    *Project management training/certification; Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
    *Strong understanding of cable industry, digital solutions or customer experience
    *Knowledge of Sales Force and Business

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New Yorkis $102,816.00- $168,912.00/ year. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in California is $102,816.00-$168,912.00/ year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
