Job Summary
This intermediate position is known as the Asset Management Integrity Engineer and is responsible for overseeing Florida's Power Grid Operations Distribution Network & Downtown Underground programs.
Responsibilities
Track unit costs and performance to budget/work plan Monitor and update work plan forecasts Collaborate with Asset Design, Resource Management, Project Management and Area Operations to ensure work plan adherence and effective work order (WO) date management Support resolution of design change requests from engineering or construction Update projections from actuals versus budget
Additional Priorities
Coordinate with Governance and Resource Management on budget and units
Forecast units to align with budget Reforecast as needed for budget and resources Attend each zone's monthly Work Execution meeting to ensure programs are on track
Provide targets to meet workplan
Provide targets per plan maintenance cycle Review and approve Service Requests Prioritization of Service Requests Generate Word Orders when required
Ensure material availability
Coordinate with Supply Chain when demand is needed Ensure minimum/maximum inventory Purchasing special components as needed (non-item # materials)
Conduct historical research on components Coordinate with other departments when needed
Provide monthly reports as required

Engineer II
Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program AND two (2) years of minimum required engineering experience A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree
Engineer III
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program AND four (4) years of minimum required engineering experience A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree

Distribution design/engineering Financial acumen Increasingly proficient in principles of project management Experience in the utility industry Department specific experience applicable to the hiring department Demonstrated advancing application of engineering theories and principles Increasingly proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing and presenting recommendations Passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam Microsoft Excel Good written and oral communication skills
Working Conditions
Hybrid Mobility Classification - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a Duke Energy facility. 3 days in office; flexible
