HX5 is currently seeking a Logistics Manager for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Simulator's Division supporting Ground Based Training Systems at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and manage a cost-effective support strategy for system development that is aligned with the Air Force's 12 Product Support Elements

• Using an understanding of the Defense Transportation System, support the development of transportation plans and coordinate life-cycle logistics for major weapon systems

• Understand logistics policies/system life cycles and assist in managing resources, establishing objectives, and coordinating participant relationships for program support.

• Provide broad support in logistics and maintainability, including knowledge of financial and lifecycle cost analysis, AIS compatibility, supportability planning, data analysis and document preparation.

• Assist management and evaluation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), ensuring compliance with plans, and providing recommendations for maintaining project timelines.

• Monitor acquisition projects, coordinate taskings, evaluate program support effectiveness, and advise on necessary actions to address issues and maintain project progress

Education and Experience:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD.

• Or ... Seven (7) years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD

* Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel.
