We're revolutionaries - so for us changing the way the world works is all in a day's work. As a Sr. Manager, Partner Strategy & Operations you will play a key role on our global partner team. You will work directly with the Partner leadership team and play a critical role in designing, planning, executing and maintaining key partner program initiatives that align with Smartsheet's strategic priorities and vision. Understanding channel ecosystems, partner programs, partner value propositions, ideal partner profiles, partner recruitment and onboarding, and ongoing enablement strategies will be key to success in this role. You'll use that expertise to build and execute scalable programs that enable long-term growth of our partnership ecosystem worldwide. This role reports to the Director, Global Partner Programs and is remote eligible although needs to be based in the United States. You will:
- Spearhead and contribute to the development of our global partner strategy and alignment with Smartsheet's go-to-market strategy
- Support the Global Partner Program Lead in modifying, enabling, and executing Aligned Partner Programs (e.g., global standard program, Partner First regions, etc.)
- Develop, implement, manage, and provide recommendations for processes, systems and tools enabling a coherent omni-channel partner experience with Smartsheet and utilizing best of breed technologies including AI
- Design, develop, and implement partner sales programs to translate go-to-market strategy into relevant partner sales programs to drive specific partner behaviors and achieve business goals
- Develop and enhance Smartsheet's program tracks for our key partner categories including MSPs and GSIs to support the growing evolution of our partner ecosystem and program
- Conduct research and evaluate market trends to identify areas of improvement and growth of Smartsheet's partner strategy
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities of improvement and optimization within Aligned Program processes (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, MDF, business planning, etc.)
- Engage with partners and other experts to bring new trends and insights to our existing programming
- Own Smartsheet's GTM Partner Advisory Council to engage with members on critical commercial challenges and opportunities
- Own the Voice of the Partner research and satisfaction surveys to ensure the partner voice is being collected and actioned upon
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across Smartsheet to achieve GTM partnership objectives
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure partner success across the Smartsheet domain (i.e., partner with sales enablement, operational excellence, channel operations, marketing resources, sales team and product teams)
- As the Partner team expands, this role is likely to take direct reports which requires the ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff, providing career development planning and opportunities
You Have:
- A minimum of 12 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education
- 8+ years of experience in a strategic programs role (e.g., channel programs, partnerships and alliances, partner business development, partner incentives, partner enablement
- Experience with a services-centric partner community in B2B Software (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, others)
- Understanding of enterprise software professional services practice economics
- Passion for working with leading edge SAAS technologies and a desire to deeply understand Smartsheet's benefits, use cases, business and technical elements
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic and high growth technology environment
- High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines
- Proven ability to drive projects from concept through completion with minimal guidance
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and developing people
- Strong communication & presentation skills (written, and verbal) with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences in large enterprises
- Willing to travel (up to 25%) based on business need
- Significant Experience using Smartsheet, Google G Suite, Microsoft, or other comparable applications

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.
