What We DoAssembles title packages, searches for tax documentation or performs other research and title examinations related to escrow and title closings. Work is done online/remotely. Role is a combination of leadership and search responsibilities. Interfaces with management. Work is varied and complex and requires deep knowledge and understanding. Performs all the work that the unit supports; searches multiple file/product types. Has broad geographic knowledge of state practices and requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Lead responsibilities include coordinating the work and activities of others: resolving escalated issues, and coordinating workflow, assigning tasks, and providing training. May provide input to hiring decisions and performance management process and process efficiency improvements
  • Conducts title research to compile search packagesand title examinations
  • Compiles and reports information to management

Job Complexities

  • Perform work that is varied and that may be complex in character; resolves escalated issues and transactions. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required

Supervision Received or Extended

  • No formal supervisory responsibility but provides guidance, mentoring and leadership to less experienced team members

Impact

  • Under supervisory direction, sets priorities and monitors and reports on progress to management
  • Regularly resolves a wide range of escalated issues from team members
  • Brings out of the ordinary issues to manager for resolution

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used

  • Strong MS skill set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of company terminology, search department procedures and tools.
  • People/leadership/interpersonal skills
  • Complex problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible to changing schedules and demands
  • Solid administrative skills

Typical Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Typical Range of Experience

  • 5+ years related experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

Pay Range: $34.68 - $46.21

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
