Job Description

Danfoss in Easley, SC has an opening for a 1st Shift Quality Technician in our production factory.The Quality Technician performs a variety of duties to identify and investigate problems that pertain to CAR analysis and production. This person will regularly communicate with manufacturing operations regarding quality issues, both internal and customer. This position participates in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.



  • Test (hydraulic, electrical, and pressure) returned products in accordance with engineering drawings and test procedures to assure conformance with performance standards
  • Disassemble products and inspect components and assemblies to print spec's.
  • Perform contamination patch testing on parts and processes.
  • Maintain inspection records along with computer databases.
  • Document findings in reports and databases (including CAR system)
  • Issue Quality Alerts and complete QA Alert training

  • High School diploma
  • 5 or more years related technical product exposure
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.Computer literate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written communication skills for reports.
  • Must be able to schedule own work, make repair decisions and perform with minimal supervision
