Shape the future of our mobile experience! As a Senior Product Owner, you'll play a pivotal role in translating business vision into impactful mobile solutions. With considerable autonomy and working closely with our Mobile Product Manager, you'll be the driving force behind defining and delivering mobile product capabilities that meet real-world customer needs and drive significant value. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with technology, sales, marketing, operations, engineering, and product development, contributing to roadmaps and launch strategies with a strong mobile-first lens. Your passion for understanding market trends and proactively aligning them with user scenarios and mobile-centric product features will be key to your success. This role also extends to enhancing our service delivery through intuitive mobile self-service capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing (with a Mobile Focus):

    Drive Mobile Strategy: Collaborate with Product Managers to deeply understand market demands, priorities, and the overarching product strategy, with a specific focus on mobile opportunities and user expectations.
  • Lead Mobile Delivery: Work closely with one or more engineering teams to deliver timely, high-quality mobile releases that provide exceptional business value and exceed customer expectations on mobile platforms.
  • Champion Mobile Initiatives: Lead and support key product initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring a strong mobile perspective is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Prioritize the Mobile Backlog: Work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional partners to define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring mobile features and enhancements are aligned with evolving business needs and mobile user behaviors.
  • Architect for Mobile: Collaborate with technical engineering leadership to ensure key architectural roadmap items, particularly those impacting mobile performance, scalability, and user experience, are represented in the product backlog.
  • Be the Mobile User Advocate: Become the primary source for user story details and priorities for your team and partners, with a deep understanding of mobile user journeys and needs.
  • Craft Mobile-First Stories: Work with your team and Product Managers to build, document, and accept user stories with well-defined, mobile-specific acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Mobile Planning: Actively participate in all phases of product planning and development, ensuring mobile considerations are central to discussions and decisions.
  • Support Mobile Agile Processes: Assist in the management of our Agile processes, tailoring them to effectively deliver mobile solutions.
  • Lead Mobile Beta Programs: Partner with internal partners to define and implement comprehensive plans for customer Beta programs, specifically focusing on gathering feedback on mobile applications and features.
  • Define Mobile Requirements: Lead efforts in acquiring and breaking down feature requirements into actionable product results, with a keen eye on the mobile context and user experience.
  • Collaborate on Mobile Releases: Collaborate with the team(s) to define mobile release scope, overall mobile design approach, and delivery plan.
  • Serve as the Mobile SME: Act as the product Subject Matter Expert and liaison between engineering and other departments on all things mobile.

What You'll Need to Be Successful (for a Mobile-Driven Role):

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Business equivalent field preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of creating software products or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in defining business requirements within agile Product Ownership, and 3+ years of experience with a significant focus on mobile application products. Experience should include flow modeling and extracting and sharing knowledge from SMEs, particularly in the mobile domain.
  • Strong experience with Mobile Application products is essential.
  • Experience in user story process flow is preferred, with an understanding of how user stories translate to effective mobile features.
  • Formal writing experience is highly desired, with the ability to clearly and concisely document mobile requirements and user stories.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credentials a plus.
  • Business insight that enables effective decision-making around problem-solving and prioritization, especially within the mobile landscape.
  • Strong technical understanding and attention to detail, with a focus on the nuances of mobile development and platforms (iOS, Android).
  • Ability to support and lead teams, fostering a collaborative environment for mobile development.
  • Outstanding listening, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, tailored for effective communication about mobile products and strategies.
  • Knowledge of agile and SAFE methodologies is required, with experience applying them to mobile development projects.
  • A strong customer service orientation, with a deep understanding of mobile user expectations and needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of the business, particularly within the rapidly evolving mobile technology landscape.
  • Proficiency with business and communications software (preferably Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio common Windows operating systems, and Outlook) is required.
  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of database structures and their relevance to mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of Aha! tools and Team Foundation Server (TFS) is a plus.
  • Ability to articulate and explain the value of middleware in the context of mobile application integration.
  • Knowledge and experience with Identify Access Management (IAM) technologies, especially as they relate to mobile security and user authentication.
  • Knowledge of AI Tools for Product Management is a plus, with an understanding of their potential application in enhancing mobile product development and user experiences.

Salary Range

$110,000.00 To $145,000.00/ year
