Lead Graphic Designer

Dragos, Inc.
$130,000
United States, Maryland, Hanover
1745 Dorsey Road (Show on map)
Apr 08, 2025
Overview

Dragos is on a relentless mission to defend industrial organizations that provide us with the necessities of modern civilization: running water, functioning electricity, and safe industrial working environments. As the market leader in ICS/OT Cybersecurity, we are dedicated to arming our customers with best-in-class technology, threat intelligence, and services to protect their systems as effectively and efficiently as possible. We're a remote-first culture with operations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. We're looking for mission-oriented teammates who embody our core values of authenticity, transparency and trust. Are you ready to make a difference? Come join a mission that can save the world!

About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer (pick a modifier: graphic, brand, digital, and even art director) who wants to see their designs actually run-rather than just sitting on a Kanban board waiting to die. We want someone who knows the unspoken power of branding and can bring it to life through original ideas and great execution. You'll work directly with and report to the VP of Brand & Digital Experience (former global ECD) to develop and execute design & graphic systems, websites, events, custom swag and employee brand experiences. You'll also work with a smart team of content writers, digital strategists, publishers, product and demand-gen marketers. It's a collaborative team that is engaged and committed to doing work that matters. The office? Odds are, you're sitting in it right now. We're fully remote, fully committed to remote, and have expectations of quality creative that comes with it. If we need to concept, be on set, work on location, deliver an amazing experience around the world, we make it happen and bring our laptops. We run like an agency, but we don't do timesheets, restrict PTO or force allegiance to the cult of agency (IYKYK). We pitch new work all the time. We drive the work ourselves. At the end of the day, we don't just throw it over to clients because we own its performance and learn from it.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and evolve our brand's visual language through your original designs and design systems.
  • Direct external swag stores, production artists, photographers, videographers and printers to ensure work meets our standards - yes, we have them.
  • Bring your whole creative self to the work. We believe that creativity isn't something you switch on and off during work hours. You'll share inspiration and outside interests across the team. You will constantly challenge our assumptions and what's possible in our category and in modern marketing models - which may be outdated by the time you read this.
  • Bring your book. We expect you to do work that adds to your portfolio and makes for great case studies that will help us win awards while we help our customers protect the critical infrastructure we rely on every day.
  • Tools - you default to Adobe Creative Cloud (especially illustrator), are comfortable in Figma, and know when and how to use AI, and when not to. You're a systems thinker that uses the right tool for the job.
  • Create project management tickets (knowing you're more likely to complete and close them).
  • Don't be a prima donna. Don't fall in love with your first idea. Know that ideas can fix everything-even our own bad ideas. You show up, own your effort, set goals and work toward them.
  • Manage your own deliverables and oversee multiple projects at once.
  • Give constructive feedback, helping freelancers reduce review cycles and coach fellow employees to recognize good design and the value it delivers for our brand.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience at an advertising or branding agency, internal brand or creative team, digital marketing department or comparable environment.
  • Experience building and managing design systems.
  • Expertise in design software (e.g., Adobe, Figma).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once while hustling to meet deadlines.
  • Portfolio is required.

Compensation

  • Salary: $130,000
  • Competitive Equity Package
  • Comprehensive Benefits Plan
