SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources (HR) professional to support departmental effectiveness in a temporary position. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance tactical execution with high-level orientation, particularly during periods of rapid talent acquisition. The ability to manage a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment is essential. The role involves supporting local and remote employees and handling various HR functions in a fast-paced setting.

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt (hourly)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Upholds the highest standards of integrity, managing highly confidential and sensitive data.
  • Contributes to processing initiatives such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Assists with employee benefits administration and related inquiries.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal labor laws and company policies.
  • Ensures accurate employee records and manages HR databases.
  • Contributes to employee training and development initiatives.
  • Provides guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Audits payroll documents for accuracy and timekeeping companywide.
  • As requested, assists with the resolution of employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Supports HR functions, ensuring overall organizational effectiveness, by fostering a high performance culture.
  • Fosters a positive work culture and ensures timely and effective communication with all employees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 years of experience, bachelor's degree in HR, master's preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with remote teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in (WFN/ADP) software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours and or weekends as needed.
