Description MaineHealth Orthopedics - Portland is seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in orthopedic traumatology. MaineHealth Orthopedics includes 3 full time Orthopaedic Traumatologists who are members of Maine Medical Center's Level 1 Trauma Program, a team of 8 surgeons within the Joint Replacements Division, 2 surgeons in the Sports Medicine Program, one pediatric orthopaedic surgeon, 2 hand surgeons and one foot and ankle surgeon. Candidates will join three established surgeons to complete a team that manages the fracture care at Maine Medical Center, the only hospital in Maine with an organized, 24-hour orthopedic trauma service. The group runs two daily orthopedic trauma rooms, working closely with the trauma service to optimize care of the injured patient. All three surgeons at MaineHealth Orthopaedics are fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Traumatology and all are certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. This position offers:
