Job Title: Senior ETL Tester

Work Location: Saint Louis, MO

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake and Cloud Testing along with demonstrated ability in Payer. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can handle testing processes efficiently and ensure high-quality results. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Own the testing strategy and execution for projects involving Snowflake and Cloud Testing.
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of test plans ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to the testing team encouraging a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Ensure detailed testing of all applications identifying and addressing any issues or defects.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Handle the testing lifecycle from planning and execution to reporting and closure.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure clear communication and understanding of testing progress and outcomes.
  • Implement standard processes and innovative testing methodologies to improve the quality and efficiency of testing processes.
  • Supervise and report on testing metrics providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the Payer domain.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential testing challenges.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for the testing team to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Snowflake and Cloud Testing with a consistent record of successful project delivery.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in the Payer domain with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Exhibit excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to empower and guide a team with varied strengths.
  • Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Display a proactive and results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Hold relevant certifications in Snowflake and Cloud Testing demonstrating a commitment to professional development.

Certified Snowflake Professional Cloud Testing Certification

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until April/11/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,848 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
