The Mellon College of Science (MCS) is home to four departments and many programs and research centers that cross disciplines. We approach scientific problems from fresh angles using creative interdisciplinary approaches while drawing on our departmental strengths in the core sciences. MCS faculty members are nationally and internationally recognized for their research in a variety of fields, including polymer science, cosmology, mathematical finance, and neuroscience. We are searching for an Employment Processes Manager to support the human resource operations in the departments of Biological Sciences and Chemistry for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. In this role, you will maintain HR policies and procedures for the department ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy while maintaining a warm and welcoming service-oriented office. You will manage HR processes for the departments, as well as serve as a key resource and advisor regarding employment matters, and act as a liaison to central CMU Human Resources team. The services managed include employment recruiting, onboarding, job reassignments, transfers, and separations, job postings, and visa immigration processing. Core Responsibilities:
