Position Summary

As a Program Integrator/ Systems Engineer supporting the U.S. Army's Next Generation Constructive (NGC) program, you will play a central role in driving full-lifecycle systems engineering, integration, and modernization of the synthetic training environment (STE). This position requires frequent travel to customer sites and events to coordinate the development and execution of agile, mission-critical training capabilities.

While currently remote, the role will transition to a hybrid position once an office is established in the Orlando, Florida area; candidates must reside locally.

This position is contingent upon contract funding

What You'll Do:



  • Translate mission and operational needs into integrated capability requirements and system solutions aligned with STE-SW Core Services.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with government stakeholders, developers, test leads, and cybersecurity teams to synchronize solution delivery.
  • Support event planning and execution, ensuring alignment of prototype capabilities with training scenarios and milestone objectives.
  • Perform systems engineering functions across the lifecycle: requirements analysis, architecture definition, test planning, and deployment integration.
  • Facilitate traceability between system architecture, mission threads, and software releases using agile frameworks and digital tools.
  • Drive integration readiness reviews, risk management, configuration control, and post-event assessments.
  • Coordinate fielding of modular, containerized software services in secure, distributed training environments.
  • Provide program analysis and documentation support, including technical reporting, milestone tracking, and briefing materials.
  • Travel: Up to 50% for onsite collaboration, integration events, and operational support.


Requirements and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (STEM preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in DoD systems integration, engineering, or program execution.
  • Familiarity with modeling & simulation (M&S), LVC training, and the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
  • Experience with agile software development and iterative release planning.
  • Understanding of interoperability standards (e.g., HLA, DDS) and composable architectures.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity practices, RMF, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with digital engineering and program management tools (e.g., Jira, Cameo, Confluence).
  • US Citizen
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (TS eligibility preferred).
