MUST:

Experienced Jr. Proposal Writer

2+ years of federal government proposal writing experience.

Experience with government contract regulations and policies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with Federal Government business intelligence software, such as Deltek GovWin, and familiarity with federal government solicitation websites, such as SAM.gov, GSA e-Buy, PIEE, and others.

Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop).

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in technical discipline or English, Communications, and/or Project Management/Business.


DUTIES:

Prepare proposals by gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals.

Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents to ensure full understanding of client needs and requirements

Ensure compliance with all government solicitation requirements, including proposal structure, content, and format.

Maintain adherence to proposal-writing standards, including readability, consistency, and tone.

Use templates and maintain proposal support databases to facilitate quality control and proposal consistency.

Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, sales teams, and executive management to gather technical content and insights.

Communicate proposal status updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
