ABOUT THE JOB:

We're looking for someone with excellent writing and research skills to be our full-time, in-house copywriter. As a member of the creative team, you will write and edit content for a variety of projects-including print, web, video, social media and advertising - working closely with key stakeholders to brainstorm ideas and utilizing corporate messaging platforms to produce effective copy. The most successful candidate will be a quick learner who can consistently deliver our brand promise across all marketing channels and communications.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Write, edit, and revise original copy for marketing and communications materials, ensuring high editorial standards are met across all outlets and deliverables
  • Support a variety of marketing needs with copywriting including - email marketing campaigns, Landing Page development, website content, sales collateral development, product cutsheets, customer-facing presentations supporting business development / RFP etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative - as well as stakeholder groups such as product management, human resources and legal - to develop ideas, produce the final product, manage reviews and deliver on time
  • Research target audiences (online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings) to inform copy creation
  • Participate in meetings to present copy concepts and final deliverables, and pitch ideas to key stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage projects with 3rd party vendors and marketing agency partners
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communications- and client-related industry trends
  • Stay current on brand guidelines, voice and value proposition for consistent messaging
  • Additional Duties and Functions as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of professional copywriting experience, with solid portfolio of work
  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
  • Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Contentful etc.
  • Experience with Marketing Platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Unbounce is a plus


Required Skills and Abilities:



  • Exceptional writing for a variety of mediums
  • Excellent eye for detail and research skills
  • Ability to work on projects individually or as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills, good time management and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Strong communication/collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, understand requirements, and incorporate feedback into copy iterations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to think conceptually
  • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
