This individual will lead efforts to identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, pricing and manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupplier Identification and Evaluation: Research and identify potential suppliers. Evaluate current supplier performance as it relates to cost, quality, delivery, and reliability performance.Negotiation and Contract Management: Draft, manage and negotiate supplier contracts, including pricing terms and conditions of contracts with suppliers.Cost Optimization: Analyze current spending to identify opportunities for cost reductions as well as develop cost effective sourcing strategies.Data Analysis and Reporting: Regularly report on supplier performance, spend and savings.Supplier Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Facilitate regular operating mechanisms with suppliers to ensure expectations are met, review pricing, performance and resolve any issues that arise. Requirements Required Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain roles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.High level of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and reporting.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.Preferred Education and Experience:Associate's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSNo travel requirements specifiedWORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
