As the HRBP Director, you own HR strategy for critical functions reporting into an executive level leader (VP level and above). This senior-level HR position entails tackling the most pressing talent opportunities and challenges at a strategic level and successfully partnering with the business unit leader to create value for the business.

This role is responsible for critical and complex human capital transformation work for your business units across multiple markets and matrix environments. This requires the ability to successfully build and evolve a new human capital strategy with precise execution. This role is responsible for dotted-line HRBP management in various markets and GCC's to ensure successful execution at the executive level.

This role understands the business and applies it across the matrix forming partnerships with COEs where needed while also leading HR initiatives and aligning HR strategy to the enterprise level.

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant HR experience, including experience in product and/or services organizations, with at least 5 of those years being in an HRBP role.
  • 10+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing organization.
  • Preference for COE Experience, ideally within Talent Acquisition
  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational design; experience delivering a design driven by enterprise strategic change.
  • Experience creating and implementing HR programs including compensation, performance management, and manager/leadership development.
  • Track record of providing HR consultation to senior leadership on strategic initiatives and becoming a trusted and sought-after HR advisor.
  • Excellent communication, consulting and coaching skills.
  • An undergraduate degree or the international equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Business
  • Deep experience supporting executive level clients on long-term, strategic talent initiatives within diverse organizational contexts
  • High proficiency in business acumen and data analytics
  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational design; experience delivering a design driven by enterprise strategic change.

Impact You'll Make:

    • Can step in for VPs when needed and have the presence and autonomy to understand VP level priorities.
    • Assist business unit leaders to create development programs for high-potential employees.
    • Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
    • Act as a liaison between the line, HR operations and COEs to ensure HR services are aligned with internal client needs.
    • Align performance management and reward strategies to reinforce an environment of dedication and innovation with and across business units.
    • Coach senior leaders to improve leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals and interpersonal communications, as well as deliver effective performance feedback.
    • Own the succession planning for their business unit.
    • Operate a senior HR team across their peer groups.
    • Influence and coach executives on talent planning for the business.
    • Actively participate and help carry through the 3 Year Plan for HR strategy.

    This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

    Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $150,100.00 - $225,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
