THE JOB:

As a Security Officer at the MassMutual Center, you will be responsible for maintaining a uniformed presence at various posts both inside & outside the MassMutual Center. As directed, patrols assigned to ensure all employees, visitors, guests, clients, contractors and business partners are authorized, while providing a safe environment. Personnel shall serve as a visual deterrent, intervene and respond to all levels of security and potential life safety issues. Strictly complies with all established policies and procedures of the MassMutual Center, MGM Springfield and the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority.

STARTING RATE: $16.75

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• The role involves providing exceptional customer service through a positive and approachable demeanor, while fulfilling various public safety duties such as patrolling the MassMutual Center, responding to inquiries, and assisting with event security.
• Responsibilities also include managing equipment, reporting incidents, responding to alarm activations, and utilizing surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its guests.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has 1+ years of prior relevant experience
• Has High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
