Institutional portfolio managers, investment advisers, insurance companies, banks, hedge funds and broker/dealers, value Yield Book for the fast and broad access it provides to financial models, databases, analytical tools and high-speed computation capabilities. A subsidiary of LSEG, Yield Book is responsible for the development and implementation of the Yield Book fixed income analysis software suite. FTSE's fixed income product line includes Yield Book Classic, Yield Book Add-in for Excel, Yield Book API, Yield Book Calculator and the FTSE Fixed Income Indices.

Role
An Associate in ISD Analytics develops and maintains client relationships, supporting the Client Services teams to provide support to clients and resolve queries.

Responsibilities
This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain a broad perspective on various fixed income products including government and agency securities, corporate high grade, high yield and emerging market securities, mortgage- and asset-backed securities, preferred stock, futures, and derivatives products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a first point of contact for institutional clients, taking ownership for the resolution of analytics queries, engaging directly with clients to gain a deeper understanding of their use cases and business needs
  • Assist with price-yield and option-adjusted calculations, duration and convexity analysis, portfolio optimization, risk analysis, return attribution, and comparison of portfolios to a benchmark, as well as assisting with consulting projects
  • Build and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clients receive the best possible service
  • Uses voice of the customer to improve products and services or processes
  • Is an active contributor to product release rollouts and upgrades programs
  • Contributes to projects within a broader project or has accountability for ongoing activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a quantitative field, such as Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • Knowledge of fixed income securities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $0 - $999,999,999. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
