eVinci Microreactor Licensing Manager

The eVinci Microreactor Licensing Manager is responsible for developing and leading the licensing activities associated and associated regulatory approvals for the eVinci microreactor.

This role is located in Pittsburgh,(Etna), PA

No sponsorship or relocation is offered for this role.

In this position the manager can expect to be responsible for the following:

* Leading a team of licensing engineers and technical engineers to develop the necessary licensing basis documents for submittal to the US NRC for the eVinci microreactor under 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52.

* Leading a team of licensing and technical engineers to develop the necessary licensing basis documents for submittal to US DOE for the eVinci Nuclear Test Reactor at Idaho National Lab DOME facility under US DOE regulations.

* Provide cross-functional organizational support by leading a team of licensing and technical engineers to develop the necessary licensing basis documents for submittal to the US NRC for the eVinci Transport Cask including obtaining a Certificate of Compliance to 10 CFR Part 71.

* Provide cross-functional organizational support by leading a team of licensing and technical engineers to develop the necessary licensing basis for an Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility in the US under 10 CFR Part 72.

* Provide cross-functional organizational support by leading a team of licensing and technical engineers to develop the necessary licensing basis for submittal of Vendor Design Review packages to Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).

* Developing the resource and technical strategy to successfully deliver the on the associated licensing requirements.

* Lead meetings and interfaces with US NRC management and personnel. Brief internal and external stakeholders of progress.

* Resource management responsibilities including hiring, training and conduct of performance reviews.

* Budget responsibilities associated with functional area scope.

* Identify and define technical issues and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.

* Provide guidance and direction to and collaborate with other personnel including partners including laboratories or subcontractors.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.

* Minimum 10 years of applicable engineering or licensing experience

* Familiar with NRC regulations and nuclear industry guidance; Familiarization with 10 CFR Parts 50, 52, 70, 71, and 72 and the Offices of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) and Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS) of the US NRC is highly desirable.

* Familiar with US DOE regulations

* Ability to navigate International Regulatory requirements associated with areas of responsibilities.

* This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

* Strong teamwork and leadership skills

* Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and perform tasks under pressure
