We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team!

Are you ready to take the lead in maintaining top-tier retail environments? As a Regional Facilities Manager, you'll coordinate Repair & Maintenance (R&M), Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs, and capital project execution across multiple retail locations-and occasionally our Support Center or production facilities. You'll serve as a trusted coach and resource, guiding teams through Service Channel and supporting District Managers and Directors of Operations in all things facility-related. This multi-state role is perfect for a proactive leader who's ready to make an impact from the ground up.

We are targeting $100,000 base salary with annual 10% bonus potential. Up to 50% travel may be required for this role.

POSITION MISSION:

In addition this role will supervise contractors and vendors, as well as interact with various concept Operations and Support Center Departments to ensure that all building systems are maintained in excellent working condition. Although they would not be directly responsible for the store R&M budget they would need to work within an acceptable price structure when approving services. They will also be responsible for controlling capital expenditures for remodels or special projects by project only.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Conduct regularly scheduled restaurant inspections (a minimum of 20-50 per year) making recommendations for needed repairs and working with the Operations Management Team by training or coaching on how to effect minor repairs to help reduce repair costs
  • Evaluate and audit R&M accounts including vendors each period through Service Channel data and accounting; create tracking of accounts to monitor trends and effect desired change
  • Work with Director of Facilities to identify high cost regions and based on findings, develop a plan of action to reduce expenses where applicable
  • Monitor both the Service Channel work orders , DM's and vendors to ensure consistency and adherence to department procedures.
  • Review and approve facilities contracts and vendors to ensure Service platform registration, appropriate qualifications and proper COI
  • Manage facility related vendors to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance performance, as well as accurate and timely billing of invoices
  • Oversee the capital and repair and maintenance expenditures
  • Maintain future projections for Capital Expenditures by utilizing annual store inspections
  • Project Manage design upgrades and refreshes
  • Contracts major repairs and maintenance and communicates issues to the operations teams
  • Acts as the national project and rollout leader for the Facilities Management department
  • Will also provide a safer environment for our guest and team members
  • Provides expertise and consultation to Operations on replacement, repairs and preventative maintenance issues
  • Provide emergency/disaster response for all properties as needed
  • Manage capital projects by developing scopes of work, selecting quality contractors, soliciting bids, scheduling work with operations and contractors, project supervision and inspection, holding the contractors accountable to deliver a quality product on time
  • Provides periodic reports on capital project status and meets with District Managers and Directors of Operations as required
  • Participates in new restaurant punch completion
  • Oversees warranty compliance matters as required
  • Assists Design Department, as required, in managing special projects
  • Represents our company at regulatory meetings as required
  • Conduct surveys for capital investment proposed projects and lease renewals Ensure employee and customer safety within the store and on the property by following up on all safety issues found in the units, addressing fire and safety issues, and ensuring compliance with all related inspections
  • Conduct field level training as it relates to equipment and facilities
  • Occasionally participate in the DO conference calls within the region of responsibility

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

  • Working knowledge of building construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and restaurant equipment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to manage, lead and motivate others for a successful outcome
  • Understands and has the ability to execute excellent customer service skills

  • Capable of easily adapting and solving problems in an expedient manner
  • Previous multi-unit building management experience, preferably in the food service industry
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time and work independently
  • Ability to prioritize task and manage multiple deadlines
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Service Channel systems a plus
