GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
The Credit Risk Reporting Specialist I is responsible for analyzing financial and loan data and writing, editing, and preparing credit risk reports, which are used to support business decision-making processes. Utilizes collaboration to determine and understand reporting needs and ensure accurate data is reported. This position requires a broad knowledge of departmental operations, policies, and procedures in order to assist with the preparation of reports and perform other various tasks within the department as needed. |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES |
- Responsible for report writing, which includes conducting research, analyzing data, creating specifications, building, testing, and implementing various reports to be used within the Lending, Loan Operations, Underwriting, and Accounting areas in order to support business decision-making processes and for review by the Board of Directors. Examples of these reports include, but are not limited to, industry reports and graphs, portfolio reports, guidance line report, lines of credit balancing review, exception report, and the $1MM and over report, SEC reports, and Call Report supplemental reports. This duty is performed about 55% of the time.
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with various departments to understand their reporting needs, customize reports accordingly, and ensure accurate data is reported. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.
- Performs collateral documentation reviews and compliance reviews of federal and regulatory guidelines. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.
- Prepares various credit risk reports as needed. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
- Provides back-up support for the department, which includes, but is not limited to, CECL reporting, DCR calculations, and Q-Factors scorecard generations. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA/AML).
- Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS |
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Services, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- 1-2 years of additional related experience preferred
- Must possess the knowledge, technical, and analytical skills to perform the essential functions of the position
- Intermediate experience with Excel and Microsoft Access preferred
- Regular use of desktop/laptop computer and intermediate operating systems.
- Intermediate experience with accounting, alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, and Word Processing.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
