*Description*
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team in two distinct roles: Import Customs Compliance Specialist and FTZ Management Specialist. Both positions require a deep understanding of US Customs programs and compliance, with specific expertise in either tariff classification or Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. Both positions can sit in either Cupertino, CA or Austin, TX. *Import Customs Compliance Specialist* The Import Customs Compliance Specialist will focus on tariff classification and managing classification programs. This role requires advanced experience in import customs compliance and proficiency with SAP-GTS. *Responsibilities:* * Conduct classification analysis to determine accurate HTS codes using trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, and WCO explanatory notes. * Maintain and monitor part classifications in SAP-GTS to ensure consistent and valid tariff numbers. * Perform global classification and duty analysis on products. * Lead global classification audits and address any errors. * Evaluate new government requirements and partner with regional teams to ensure import compliance. * Create and maintain processes and procedures. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders through emails and presentations. *Qualifications:* * 6+ years of increased responsibility in import customs compliance roles (professional services firm(s), Fortune 500 company, etc.). * Licensed Customs Broker License preferred. * Advanced tariff classification experience and managing classification programs. * Knowledge of US Customs programs including Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Orders, and PGAs (e.g., FDA, EPA). * Proficiency with MS Office and SAP-GTS. * BA/BS degree plus 6+ years of equivalent practical work experience. A Masters and/or JD degree is a plus. *FTZ Management Specialist* * The FTZ Management Specialist will focus on managing FTZ operations and external partners. This role requires advanced experience in FTZ management and strong project management skills. *Responsibilities:* * Support the Global Trade FTZ program and manage vendor relationships. * Conduct audits of FTZ estimates admissions and weekly customs entries. * Manage and monitor external partners, including weekly meetings, compliance requests, and shipment validations. * Ensure legal regulatory compliance with all aspects of FTZ operations. * Manage system-related issues and perform root cause analysis. * Present metrics to the management team and conduct desk verifications and on-site audits with external partners. * Create and maintain processes and procedures. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders through emails and presentations. *Qualifications:* * 6+ years of increased responsibility in import customs compliance roles (professional services firm(s), Fortune 500 company, etc.). * Licensed Customs Broker License preferred. * Advanced FTZ experience and managing external partners. * Knowledge of US Customs programs including Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Orders, and PGAs (e.g., FDA, EPA). * Project management experience. * Data management, KPIs, metrics development, and management. * FTZ audit program management. * BA/BS degree plus 6+ years of equivalent practical work experience.
