Recovery and Resolution Analyst - National Remote

This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm CST, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Investigation, recovery and resolution of all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers, and government entities
  • Initiate phone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefits
  • Investigate and pursue recoveries and payables on subrogation claims and file management
  • Process recovery on claims
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR Older
  • 2+ years of Claims, Collections, OR Subrogation experience
  • 1+ years of experience Analyzing and Solving customer problems
  • Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm CST, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working in the health care industry
  • Experience working with claims and/or recovery
  • Experience using claims platforms such as UNET, Pulse, NICE, Facets, Diamond, etc.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, pivot tables)



Telecommuting Requirements:



  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group - approved symptom screener. The hourly range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
