Overview of Function, Team, and Role Assists with financial analysis, forecasting/budgeting, operational/metric analysis, business partnering, and ad hoc reporting. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our AMER FP&A Team. The ideal candidate will assist in generating reports and manipulating large datasets, utilizing strong analytical skills to support financial analysis. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and data analysis within a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Manipulate and analyze large datasets using Excel and other data analysis tools to identify trends and insights. Support the finance team in data entry, reconciliation, and reporting tasks. Collaborate with members to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy. Conduct research and gather data to support financial modeling and analysis. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data visualization). Tableau Prep or Power BI desirable Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis concepts is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
