01- Operations Manager

ATC has an opening for an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to join its high reliability space and aerospace electronics manufacturing and quality departments in Chelmsford, MA. ATC designs, develops and produces high reliability RF, and optical systems and payloads, digital processors and controllers and power systems for NASA, DoD, other agencies and the space and aerospace community. The successful candidate would guide the manufacturing and quality assurance processes employed to assemble high density printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies containing CCGA, BGA, LGA, QFN, other surface mount and through-hole devices, and integrating these PCB assemblies into units and systems. The individual would work closely and productively with manufacturing, quality assurance, program managers, engineering and material control relative to manufacturing and quality assurance related issues and solutions.

The individual should have a minimum of fifteen years' experience in manufacturing operations and/or quality systems engineering using the NASA/IPC Space Addendum manufacturing processes, and related training and/or education.
