Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Spiritual Assessment & Documentation

- Use our comprehensive screening tool to identify spiritual/existential needs
- Record assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record and KPI tracker
- Counseling, Consultation & Education

- Provide oneonone spiritual care and facilitate group sessions on grief, moral distress, and endoflife topics
- Lead workshops or briefings for staff on recognizing and responding to spiritual distress
- Collaboration & Cultural Sensitivity

- Partner with clinical teams to integrate spiritual care into each patient's treatment plan
- Honor diverse faith traditions and cultural backgrounds with compassion and respect
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Healthcare experience-through work, internships, or volunteer service-in a hospital or care setting
- At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) completed, or a strong willingness to enroll in our inhouse CPE program
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to hold space for intense emotions with empathy and grace
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in Divinity or Theology or equivalent, clinical training in chaplaincy, ordination or commissioning for ministry by a recognized religious group, a current endorsement for chaplaincy by a recognized religious/spiritual group preferred. ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education, at least one unit preferred.

- Experience: Two years of professional ministry in congregation or institutional setting preferred.
