POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the VP, Destination Marketing and Ikon Pass, the Marketing Manager will play an integral role as a key member of the Ikon Pass marketing team and handle multiple responsibilities tied to sales and promotion of the Affiliate Partner Program. The role will act as a liaison between Ikon Pass and affiliate partners. The role will help develop, manage and grow the affiliate program as well as act as a key resource for affiliate partner questions and coordination.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

General Responsibilities
  • Balance individual affiliate partners, unique identifies and broader direction of Ikon Pass.
  • Prospect and qualify opportunities for future partnerships.
  • Support and grow existing partnerships through renewal agreements.
  • Create marketing & prospecting materials including but not limited to capabilities presentations, pitch decks, proposals and term sheets.
  • Work with the cross functional marketing team to onboard and integrate new affiliate partners.
  • Manage the day-to-day responsibilities such as weekly calls, creative review, program compliance and building appropriate support resources for future affiliate partnerships.
  • Ensure messaging and communication is accurate and on brand at affiliate locations: such as destination websites, emails and other communications.
  • Compile annual and midseason season recaps for internal stakeholders as well as affiliate partners.
  • Assist with analysis and tracking of key performance metrics tied to the program success.
  • Create alignment and foster teamwork for the greater good.
  • Support development and creation of new processes that create efficiency and ease for the affiliates and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Contact Center and customer facing resort positions on training and education where appropriate.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, adjust quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Oversee the management and development of direct reports.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years' experience in Marketing with a focus on Resorts/Hospitality/multi-location destinations or 2+ years' experience in a marketing leadership role or as an Agency account manager
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating on projects
  • Knowledge of maintaining and enhancing brand presence
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with complex negotiations
  • Professional/lived experience proactively marketing, communicating, and driving sales in a culturally competent manner to a diverse range of audiences and new/emerging markets, including to underrepresented communities
  • Strong industry knowledge
  • The ability to lead people-both direct reports and those without a direct reporting relationship
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage tight deadlines
  • Comfort working with and communicating with executive management
  • Strong quantitative skills, excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Ability to form strong relationships
  • Intermediate+ Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Undergraduate degree or coursework in Marketing, Finance, Strategy or Economics preferred

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base salary range: $80,000-$112,000 per year
