Position Title: CNC Programmer
Salary: $60,000-$70,000 Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm Take the next step in your career with the CNC Programmer role. This is a direct hire opportunity for a company in Pewaukee, WI. CNC Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Create CNC programs for lathes and horizontal/vertical machining centers - Work with machine operators to prove out programs and answer questions - Assist Manufacturing Engineers in the development and implementation of manufacturing methods, fixtures, and gauging - Investigate and update manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality - Create required documentation for new parts, including tool records, process drawings, inspection records, etc. Update existing documentation when changes occur - Provide cost estimates for manufacturing processes - Comply with the requirements of the quality system - Engage in special manufacturing projects as directed by management CNC Programmer Requirements: - High school diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience - A technical degree in CNC programming (2-year program) and/or 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAM software - Experience with SolidWorks and/or Esprit CAM software a plus - Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical designs, drawings, blueprints, and test results - Intermediate to advanced math skills - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong analytical thinker - Must be able to define problems, collect and research data, establish facts, use intuition and experience to complement data, and draw valid conclusions - Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds Benefits: - Comprehensive medical plan with employer contribution Health Savings Account - Dental and vision plans - 401(k) retirement plan with generous company contributions - Employer-paid: Group term life insurance, Accidental death and dismemberment, Short-term disability, Training opportunities - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Long-term disability - Voluntary life insurance options - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Up to 13 paid Holiday days, includes building shut down the week of 4th of July - Tuition Reimbursement Program QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
