SUMMARY: An Emergency Management Support Analyst supports DAF Emergency Management, CBRN defense, and Emergency Management career field publications program management requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, the EM education & training analyst will assist with the DAF Emergency Management, CBRN defense, and Emergency Management career field education and training program management requirements. This position will also have supervisory responsibilities IAW with DAWSON guidance. Essential Job Functions
- Design, develop, and update engaging and relevant training materials (e.g., presentations, manuals, job aids, e-learning modules) based on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats.
- Contribute to the development and revision of Qualification Training Packages (QTPs) and other training documentation.
- Review and provide expert feedback on existing training materials to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Deliver engaging and effective training programs to diverse audiences, utilizing various instructional methods and technologies.
- Facilitate exercises and simulations to enhance practical application of emergency management concepts.
- Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs and materials.
- Analyze training data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance program quality.
- Track and analyze trends in Request for Information (RFI) data to identify recurring issues and develop solutions, including FAQs and process improvements.
- Update and manage ARIS for course updates and changes as required.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, training vendors, and government agencies.
- Attend relevant meetings and conferences to stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Support the EM team in procurement and implementation of new training technologies and equipment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and the client.
- Additional duties and obligations outlined in the EM Support PWS, and assignments delegated by the DAWSON Contract Task Lead or DAWSON Supervisor.
Experience and Qualifications:

- Must have an Active secret security clearance
- 5-10 years' experience in CBRND, EM or related field.
- Thorough knowledge of Air Force emergency management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and
- Proficient experience working within ARIS database.
Training and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or Disaster Preparedness (or equivalent)
- Certification in one of the three levels of the Air Force Certified Emergency Manager Program preferred.
- A current passport is required or must be acquired within the first 90 days of starting the position.
