Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to support a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program focused on Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations. This role requires expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement to ensure efficient and FAR compliant support of systems and components. The position is based within the contiguous United States (CONUS) with potential travel as needed.



Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute the end-to-end supply chain process for ISR systems, components, and equipment in support of an FMS program.

    Procurement & Logistics: Source, acquire, and manage materials and equipment required for operations. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of supplies while maintaining compliance with FMS regulations.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to applicable FMS policies, U.S. government regulations, and contractual requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the supply chain process.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and program stakeholders to ensure delivery schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions to operations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports, metrics, and analysis to provide visibility into supply chain performance and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, or procurement, preferably supporting US Defense or FMS programs.

Knowledge: Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and related compliance requirements.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Security Clearance: SECRET or higher security clearance
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ISR operations or military programs.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and procurement databases.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain optimization tools. Deltek CostPoint a plus.
